{"id":1581,"date":"2021-05-10T11:49:22","date_gmt":"2021-05-10T09:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/bandi-aiam-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-05-10T12:00:02","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T10:00:02","slug":"bandi-aiam-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/en\/bandi-aiam-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Awards AIAM 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Italian Association of AgroMeteorology<\/strong>, as it is stated in the Statute, has among its main objectives those to enhance, promote and protect the figure of the agro-meteorologist and to promote education, training and updating in agro-meteorology. In this perspective, one of the aims of AIAM has always been to support the initiation of young scholars to research on agro-meteorological issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For this reason, also this year there is a competition for the award of scholarship prizes for <strong>theses<\/strong> (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bando_tesi_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bando Tesi<\/a>) of agro-meteorological topics submitted during the academic year 2019\/2020 and a Call for <strong>Best papers<\/strong> 2021 (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bando_Best_Paper_2021-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bando Best paper<\/a>), a recognition (symbolic) for the best research contributions in agro-meteorological disciplines published during 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, thanks to the generous gesture of our friend and member <strong>Vittorio Marletto<\/strong>, this year there is an additional call for an award for a doctoral thesis or post-graduate master \/ post-doctoral on agro-meteorological issues (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bando_tesi_Vittorio_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bando di Studio &#8220;Vittorio&#8221;<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>As per tradition, the official proclamation of the winners will take place also this year during the works of the AIAM Annual Conference &#8211; &#8220;<em><strong>Research and innovation for the management of climatic weather risk in agriculture <\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, which will be held <strong>online June 30 &#8211; July 2, 2021<\/strong>, and the young scholars will be given the opportunity to present the main results of their research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call regulations<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bando_tesi_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bando Tesi<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bando_Best_Paper_2021-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bando Best paper<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrometeorologia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bando_tesi_Vittorio_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bando di Studio &#8220;Vittorio&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Deadlines:<br \/>\n<\/strong>All documentation for participation in the calls must be submitted to the organizing secretariat (<a href=\"mailto:segreteria@agrometeorologia.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">segreteria@agrometeorologia.it<\/a>) no later than <strong>30th of May 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Association of AgroMeteorology, as it is stated in the Statute, has among its main objectives those to enhance, promote and protect the figure of the agro-meteorologist and to promote education, training and updating in agro-meteorology.
