With the aim of fostering deeper scientific knowledge in the field of agrometeorology and supporting young scholars as they begin their research careers, the AIAM holds an annual competition to award a prize for the best undergraduate or postgraduate master’s thesis.
The theses must address one or more aspects of agrometeorology—a science that studies the interactions between meteorological and hydrological factors and agro-forestry ecosystems, as well as agriculture in its broadest sense, including animal husbandry and forestry.
